What is the terrace request?

The application consists of the following documentation:

  1. Application.
  2. Plan of the proposal by an engineer of the location of the tables on the outside of the premises either on the sidewalk or on the road. The proposed terrace complies with the distances to the urban furniture and entrances or exits of vehicles. The premises must comply with the provision of toilets established by the ordinance.

For an outdoor interior capacity of less than 50 people two cabins and two sinks, for capacity between 51 and 250 people 3 cabins are required, one of them adapted, two sinks and an independent urinal. A layout of the premises will have to be made indicating the location of the toilets, garbage room suitable for the total capacity and the location of the tables and chairs of the terrace when they are collected, in order to verify that the main activity can continue to be carried out if the terrace is collected.

  1. Responsible declaration in the event that it is necessary to fix the parasols to the pavement.
  2. For the request of terraces on the road, one of the approved platforms will have to be proposed as well as the assumption of the engineer who will follow the installation.

What is the deadline for them to respond to my request?

There is no fixed deadline for the resolution of the terrace request in Barcelona.

The approximate term is 6 months.

In case of not receiving a response, the silence is negative, although we can follow up on the request.
